Virtuozzo Containers is a widespread virtualization platform, which is used to create virtual servers on physical machines. Each VPS created with it is a separate software emulation of a hosting server, which means that it has its own Operating System. The resources are also predefined, so if you obtain a VPS plan with certain CPU, RAM and disk space quotas, they'll always be at your disposal and will not be shared with some other customer on the physical server. The Virtuozzo Containers software is very intuitive and user-friendly, so even if you don't have much experience, you can control your entire server using a web-based graphical interface. With a few clicks, you will be able to start/stop/reboot your virtual machine, set firewall rules, install server-side software packages and do numerous maintenance tasks. You can also monitor what amount of system resources your sites are using live and all of this information will inform you whether you'll need upgrading as you expand your web presence. When needed, you can even reset the whole VPS to its original software installation.
